If you're looking to recycle some of your old denim, there are many fun ways to transform the fabric into other things. This application will share with you several recycled jeans crafts that you can easily make with your old jeans.

recycled old jeans craft - One of the more popular things people do with their jeans is create a new craft from your old jeans instead of throw it to the garbage. This application provides you a lot of creative craft you may not think before. And it is an easy recycled jeans. I am sure you can make it by yourself.

refashion old jeans craft - Denim can also be used as linens. If you're interested in creating a denim pillow case, you'll need an old denim shirt. This is harder than creating the denim strips, but if you have sewing skills this shouldn't be too tough.

unique recycled jeans project - You'll need between five and nine 1.25 inch x 14 inch strips. Then you'll need something to mark the denim so you'll know where to attach the denim strips. Typically, tailor's chalk is best for this. Then you'll need to take each denim strip and sew right down the center. For best results, use a needle specific for denim. An awl is also necessary which will help pleat the fabric. Once you're ready to move on, you'll need to continue sewing two more rows of stitches along the sides. Allow 1/8 inch seam and this will help create flat strips.

 If you're really the artsy type and want to get crafty, consider making floral brooches out of your old denim. These brooches can be added on many things to add a pretty touch. They do look great if you make a denim bag and attach the brooches for some decoration.

old denim jeans pattern - To make the denim brooches, begin by ripping a pair of old jeans. The tear should be 1.5 inches wide and about as long as your actual jeans. From the edge of the strips, you'll need to sew two rows of stitches that are only 1/8 inch apart from each other. You'll need to combine a machine and then you need to hand sew. The spiral shape of the brooch is hand sewn on. Make sure to add a safety pin to the back of the design, so you can simply add it on to whatever you like.

So instead of throwing out all your old denim, get a bit crafty. There are many other things you can make out of them. Some other popular items include tote bags, throw rugs and aprons. It can be a great hobby and won't cost you anything extra!
